In the early days, we had no intention what so ever of starting a canning manufacturing business. We simply produced pickles from our garden for ourselves, our friends and as Christmas gifts. It wasn't long until we invented a new pickle, "Ken's Perkles". Friends said, "Go Sell These!" We did. Next came "WOW Sauce" followed by "Super Dills". Soon these products were in demand and we were forced to comply. The Pickle Guy was born the fall of 1988.

Since the early 1990's our product has grown and grown. The Pickle Guy has expanded six times in seventeen years. We still build every jar today as we did on day one.

The Pickle Guy, Ken Bustin, owes his background to music, photography, teaching, newspaper work, electronics and writing. It only seems appropriate the years spent in these venues would "end up in a jar.
